Great Fathers
The Great Fathers are the Rhul gods. They arose from Kharg Drogun (the Land Beneath). Their creation is a slave story, wherein the creator known as Ghor the living mountain created the thirteen Great Fathers for servitude. The Great Fathers would defeat Ghor through trickery, carving out the living mountain and collapsing their monument to Ghor on top of their creator. [1][2]

Discovery of Caen and creation of Claywives
The Great Fathers cleared away the rubble left by Ghor's destruction, and built a memorial to their freedom and victory, calling it Tower Ghorfel. They discovered a chasm in the realm of Ghor, which led to Caen. They molded the claywives from the clay along the Ayeres River, where it flowed into Lake Armsdeep. [2]
The Claywives, for their part, prevented the Great Fathers from abandoning their progeny, and encouraged them to walk among the people and determine what would be right for Rhul's future. [2]
Return to Kharg Drogun
After establishing laws and passing on gifts and talents, the Great Fathers and Claywives returned to Kharg Drogun. They remain there as protectors and guardians of Rhulfolk souls. [2]
Role in the Claiming
The Great Fathers and Claywives dispached archons, great heroes of ancient times, for a brief time to fight for Rhul. [2]
