Model Advantages and Abilities

Unstoppable
Unstoppable
This model does not have to forfeit its Combat Action when it advances or is placed out of one or more enemy models' melee ranges during its Normal Movement.

No errata for Unstoppable (Create)

Tough
Tough
When this model is disabled, roll a d6. On a 5 or 6, remove 1 damage point from this model; it is no longer disabled and becomes knocked down. While knocked down, this model loses Tough.

Question: If a feat or ability says when a model "makes a Tough roll of 4,5, or 6... that model can remove 1 damage point," does that mean the model gets to remove 1 damage point from that ability PLUS another damage point from the Tough ability?
Answer: No, you only remove 1 damage point.
Explanation: You will only heal one point of damage due to [Madrak's] feat

Berserk
When this model destroys one or more models with a melee attack during its Combat Action, immediately after the attack is resolved, it must make one additional melee attack against another model in its melee range, regardless of whether that model is a friendly model or an enemy model.

Ghost Shield
This model gains +1 ARM for each soul token currently on it.

No errata for Ghost Shield (Create)

Side Step
When this model hits an enemy model with an initial melee attack or a melee special attack, it can advance up to 2 inches after the attack is resolved.

No errata for Side Step (Create)

Soul Taker

This model can gain soul tokens from living models that are not soulless. If multiple models are eligible to claim a soul token as a result of the destruction of a model, the nearest eligible model claims the token. If this model reaches its limit on how many soul tokens it may collect, then it is not considered eligible for claiming that token.

This model cannot gain soul tokens from friendly models destroyed by friendly attacks, such as from trample power attacks, or spray attacks that hit friendly models.

Body Count - When this model destroys a living enemy model with an attack, this model gains the destroyed model's soul token. This model can have up to three soul tokens at any time. This model can spend soul tokens for the following:
Soul-Powered - During its combat action, this model can spend soul tokens to make additional melee attacks. It can make one additional attack for each token spent.
Spectral Vortex - This model can immediately negate any spell that targets it or a model within 3 inches of it by spending 1 soul token. The negated spell does not take effect, but its COST remains spent.

Errata & Clarifications

  • Note that the sidestep occurs in step 12 of the Timing Chart in Damage Application, after the attack is resolved in step 11.
  • The Berserk Attack resolves in Step 14 of the Timing Chart in Damage Application, because it is an active player effect triggering "after the attack is resolved" that involves making an attack.
  • Halexus only receives one Sidestep, because the Berserk Attack and any purchased attacks are not Initial attacks.
