Thoughts on Tharn Ravager Shaman
Tharn Ravager Shaman in a Nutshell
The Tharn Ravager Shaman is one of many models in the Circle that kills light infantry. In this case, by crispy frying it with Chain Lightning. He also provides a no-knockdown aura for fellow Tharn (including himself), and provides magic weapons to units that might have issues with incorporeal models.
While he can mix it up in melee he has less output than a standard Ravager so it shouldn't be his first choice.
Combos & Synergies
- Other Tharn who don't want to be knocked down. Which starts off with all the tough ones, like Tharn Ravagers.
- Provides magic weapons to units that might have issues with incorporeal models.
Drawbacks & Downsides
- Its magic ability is mediocre, meaning that the lightning frequently misses.
- Watch of you don't fry your own models with Chain Lightning
- He's generally out of place so as to give out as much of his aura as possible, generally leaving him easy to scalpel.
- He can only spend his corpse token on melee attacks and that isn't really where he wants to be.
Tricks & Tips
- Work out whether you want the offensive or defensive abilities.
- Hunter's Grace works on the Shaman too!
