Lesser warbeasts are simply warbeasts with a 30mm base. While the rules don't explicitly call out lesser warbeast rules, there are some rules that imply some restrictions. Lesser warbeasts don't count for the following:
- Spirit Bond: (must be medium-based or larger)
- List creation: (they don't count toward caster cohort model count)
A lesser warbeast is still a warbeast.
