Veterans of countless battles, Fennblade kithkar are warriors of renown. Each has led his brothers in arms time and again against any who would infringe upon trollkin lands or harass their people. More than heroes or champions, these vaunted leaders are brilliant battlefield commanders capable of coordinating the maneuvers of their fellow Fennblades with great precision.

Thoughts on Fennblade Kithkar
Fennblade Kithkar in a nutshell
The Fennblade Kithkar is the veteran leader of the Trollkin Fennblades. Capable of three attacks in a turn it's an interesting support solo that hits medium-hard and makes the Fennblades more accurate. Great against infantry - but not so hot against beast/jack walls with pow 13 weapons.
He is quite cheap points wise and has 8 hp so he isn't bad, his role of infantry clearing just isn't something trolls need help with. His support role is the reason to include him so really you are reaching for him with Fennblades only.
Combos & Synergies
- Trollkin Fennblades, naturally.
- Another Kithkar, they boost each other's attack rolls.
Drawbacks & Downsides
- Of the three attacks in a turn, only the charge is going to break ARM 20.
- Has high hp but low natural armour, can be shot off the board in 1 or 2 shots. Maybe a few more if under the Krielstone or with the right caster.
- He has the same output as a single Troll Champion, the difference being he maybe has an bit of movement with an extra attack and a more accurate charge, but this is vs weapon master, sanguine bond, +1 armour and Defensive Line all while being a half point cheaper.
Tricks & Tips
- Position him somewhere that he's all but guaranteed to get Righteous Vengeance triggered. ie put some troops in a zone that your opponent wants to clear, and have him within 5" of those troops.
- Put him somewhere safe, like out of LOS or by the edge of a obstacle, and use the Righteous Vengeance move to get him back into the open before he activates.
