Thoughts on the PAGENAME
Changes and Updates
PAGENAME in a nutshell
Mk3 to Mk4
The Bronzeback Titan does three things and does them extremely well: Smash stuff, soak damage, and leads titan herds. It got a reputation for (with the help of Paingiver Beast Handlers) regulary to one-round Colossals. It's a nicely balanced model - if your army wants what it does it's worth the points, but although it might be the heaviest heavy hammer in the box a lighter one will do the job more cheaply much of the time. Still, there's no kill like overkill.

It's also the lone non unique mat 7 warbeast Skorne get, and the one with the most box who isn't a gargant.

Bronzebacks lead the great Titan herds with brutal displays of physical might. Ancient instincts goad other Titans to respond instantly to a Bronzeback and fight with renewed tenacity while following its lead.

Combos & Synergies
Fundamentally, the Bronzeback is a sledgehammer. He wants anything that will help him do that better.
* Paingiver Beast Handlers - Fury management and strength buff.
* Non-Bronzeback Titans - If you have two or three other Titans in your army, then Leadership becomes a really useful source of Fury management.
* Agonizer or Basilisk Krea - If you're running a Titan Herd, you're running a de facto brick. Might as well brick-up harder.
* Venator Slingers - Landing two hits in a row to get the Chain Attack is much easier if you've flared your target first.
* Any speed buff - Titan Gladiator or The Terrorizer for Rush, Xerxis, Fury of Halaak for his field marshal, Master Tormentor Morghoul for abuse, or Archdomina Makeda for quicken.
* Xekaar - Alpha Hunter gives free charges and potentially +2 SPD and +2 MAT. This helps you engage and land the Chain Attack.
Drawbacks & Downsides
* Overkill is also known as wasted damage. Enraged Bronzebacks are frequently overkill against anything that isn't on a huge base.
* The chain attack does not work against Colossals/Gargantuans. They can't be thrown and you can't headbutt a model with a larger base than your own.
* Counter-charge is good but should not be overvalued. As a counter charger, the Bronzeback isn't very scary (and he can be engaged to remove that entirely). Don't lose too much time trying to optimize Counter Charge.
* If you absolutely want to wreck face most theme forces have a highly competitive alternative.
** Masters of War has Tiberion with a 1" further threat range, a shield (and Shield Guard), and a similar damage output
** If you only want sheer damage output, there's alternatives like the Aradus Soldier or Supreme Guardian who cost less point while hitting almost as hard. If you only want sheer durability, there's beasts like Titan Sentry, Cyclops Brute or even Rhinodon who can provide that.
** Winds of Death has the Siege Animantarax for one point more. It provide some shooting and only slightly less damage overall.
Tricks & Tips
* Decide which way you want to Grab and Smash - two handed throws using the ruined target as a projectile, or headbutt to finish it off.
* Using Beat Back to push into a second target is hard work to position but worthwhile if it lets you wreck two heavies in a round.
* Bronzebacks are legendary for their killing power. Opponents will go to great lengths to avoid them or kill them early. Use this threat to upset your opponent's plans.
* His threshold is really low. If you max him out, make sure friendly forces are far away.
* There is little point not casting Puissance when you aren't expecting to fight that turn. Usually you want the Fury to spare when you are.
* Unyielding still works against Blessed weapons; blessed weapons only cut through direct bonuses.

Beat Back
Immediately after a basic atack with this weapon is resolved during the models Combat Action:
 1. The enemy model hit can be pushed 1 inch directly away from the attacking model.
 2. After the enemy model is pushed, the attacking model can advance up to 1 inch directly toward it.

You cannot move toward a model that is no longer on the table. When a movement occurs after a damage is resolved, and resolution of the damage destroys or removes a model from the table, then it is impossible to move toward that destroyed/removed model.

  Errata-Follow Up (2023-08-23)
Question: What is the timing of follow up, and do you still move if a slammed model is destroyed?
Answer: 1. Slam attack
2. Damage to target and collateral damage.
3. If slammed model is still on the table, Follow Up movement.
Explanation: The old ruling will still apply here.
The rationale is the “slam” and “Slammed” descriptions include the target taking a damage roll caused by the action. Therefore the damage roll is part and parcel with resolving the “slam”. For the it was that you can not follow up to a model that has been destroyed as there is no longer a model on the board to follow up to.
