Thoughts on PAGENAME
PAGENAME in a nutshell
Pure melee vector, Inverter serves as a whacking cudgel. It's main weapon, meteor hammer, puts on the hurt, yet its sub-weapon(or main-main weapon), macropummeler, means business with the highest unassisted P+S in the game not on a huge base. Guaranteeing a Knockdown, macropummeler makes your opponent stay out of Inverters way, or they will have a hard time bringing it down.

Combos & Synergies
Slow but faithful, Inverter is beloved by two melee casters, Axis and Lucant. Both of them can buff Inverter significantly, and the latter is in no need of Inverter's cousin Conservator. So they all love 1 or 2 Inverters in their list.

The Inverter can also find a place with Aurum Lucanum Athanor Locke as it fits her mixed melee and ranged vector style.

Axis, The Harmonic Enforcer :
* His Field Marshal gives it Countercharge. While it is fun to see a boosted Macropummeler punching the unlucky victim and knocking them down during their own activation, it is sometimes better to just whack it with Meteor hammer and save the Single Shot weapon for your own turn.
* Iron Aggression increases its efficiency to awesome levels. Start the game with IA in place, and your opponent will have a hard time dealing with boosted Macropummeler hits.
* His feat can give Inverter a much needed speed boost.
* Stack his feat with Unstoppable Force and Onslaught and you get a high SPD vector with pathfinder that can bulldoze off any intervening models, charges for free, and brings a colossal-level chain weapon with boosted attack roll. Who wouldn't want that? Your opponent, for starters.

Father Lucant, The Divinity Architect : Lucant makes great use of Inverter's solid armor. As his field marshal is useless for Conservator, it is common to see Lucant playing multiple Inverters.
* Inverter makes an excellent watcher target. Let them come near your 'Caster, and see Inverter dash in with a fully-boosted Macropummeler hit.
* His feat, Clockwork Reinforcement, takes Inverter's armor to ridiculous levels. They will need more than a charge to take out feated Inverter, otherwise they will be crushed.

Aurum Lucanum Athanor Locke : Locke has a feat that makes the inverted harder to take out and a field marshal that lets it select what branch to damage.
* with Redline the Macropummeler becomes Pow22 which is frightening if she casts engine of destruction and makes the inverter Mat9
* road to war helps mitigate its weaker speed with redline that is 5” extra movement and a free charge.

Drawbacks & Downsides
* Slow, which isn't good for a melee-only heavy.
* Macropummeler is only once per round, so a countercharge or a free strike with it means you can't use it during your next activation.
* anti knockdown tech is quite prevalent.

Tricks & Tips
* Always lead with the Macropummeler. Not only is it the stronger weapon, knocking down your target makes it easier for the rest of your attacks to hit.
** For that reason, it's often worth boosting the attack roll even if it's a near-certain hit.

Warjack Rules

Convergence of Cyriss warjacks are called vectors. While being a "Vector" isn't a gameplay rule, the Convergence warjacks do carry some additional rules of their own that set them apart from normal warjacks.

Interface Node
  1. This model has an interface node instead of a cortex, represented by the I boxes on the damage grid.
  2. This model gains focus, and can have no more than 3 points at any time.
  3. This model can spend focus only during its activation.
  4. This model cannot gain or spend focus while its interface node is crippled.
  5. This model is immune to effects that cause a warjack to suffer damage directly to its cortex.
  6. This model is immune to effects that require a warjack to have a functional cortex.

No errata for Interface Node (Create)

Warcaster Dependent MAT and RAT
  1. This model's MAT and RAT are equal to the current MAT and RAT of its controlling warcaster.
  2. This model does not directly benefit from MAT/RAT bonuses, but any alteration to a controlling warcaster's MAT/RAT will be passed along to this model.
  3. Effects that affect attack rolls will affect this model normally.

No errata for Warcaster Dependent MAT and RAT (Create)

No Power Up
This model does not power up and does not automatically gain a focus point for being in the controlling warcaster's control range during the Control Phase.

No errata for No Power Up (Create)

Force Induction
When this model spends a focus point during its activation, you can give a focus point to another warjack with an operational interface node if the two are in the same battlegroup and are within 9 inches of one another. This does not override the Interface Node rule limiting the warjack's focus points to 3.

No errata for Force Induction (Create)

Lore

The Inverter represents the first of the Convergence of Cyriss’ vector chassis. Designed specifically for brute force, its heavy spring-loaded macropummeler sends its unfortunate opponents crashing to the ground, making them easy targets for the finishing blows of its meteor hammer.
