Hand of Judgment is a [[Repenter]] on steroids - a much bigger and better spray, more melee hitting power than a [[Crusader]] (including some free charges), and a decent turn of speed, but at more than twice the cost of a Repenter

* [[Feora, Priestess of the Flame]] . Feora1 makes excellent use of Fuel for the Flames with her flamethrowers and Blazing Effigy, which can be cast on HoJ and will always recieve the bonus damage. Her feat makes makes for easy free charges.
* [[Feora, Protector of the Flame]] - The spray can ligth a swat of models on fire, which she converts into focus with her feat and shuffle around among models in her control range. Escort speeds it up.
* [[Feora, the Conquering Flame]] - Incite is pretty great with a long range spray and a P+S 18 follow-up mace. It's as fine a Red-Line target as any jack as well.
* [[Feora the Forsaken]] - Same trick as with Blazing Effigy from Feora1, but with her feat. Road to War speeds it up and it is able to trigger it very well, too. You can spray, kill a model, advance 3", then charge, for some extra distance. She has Field Marshal Aggressive though, so Blazing Wrath is wasted. She also prefers several cheaper jack, over a few expensive ones.
* [[Malekus]] can make great use of Hand. Fuel for the Flames is a great force multiplier for his feat, while its spray makes it a decent choice for Open Fire.
* [[Reclaimer Gatekeeper]] - Hand of Judgement's RAT is on the low side, so you will frequently have to boost to hit with it's ranged weapon. Getting [[Future Sight]] from a Reclaimer will help immensely.
* [[Flameguard Cleansers]], [[Deliverer Sunburst Crew]], [[Vanquisher]] - Hand of Judgement charges enemies that are on fire for free - Having some buddies set it's target on fire will let you spend more focus on killing the enemy.

* Hand is quite expensive for what it brings - you can get almost two Crusaders for it, which will have a greater offensive output.
* Fuel for the Flames will also affect your own models when they are hit by enemy Fire attacks.

*Since Hand of Judgement is immune to fire damage, you can use it and another model with a blast weapon that causes fire damage, such as a [[Vanquisher]] or [[Deliverer Sunburst Crew]], to bypass the Defense of extremely high Defense models (such as [[Kayazy Eliminators]]). Place Hand next to the enemy model, and then have the other model shoot Hand instead of the enemy. You will only have to hit a relatively modest DEF 12 (natural 10 + 4 for being engaged - 2 for back strike) instead of the enemy's defense.
* Fuel the Flames affects HoJ's own spray as well, meaning it will be POW 15 within 5" of it and POW 13 outside of it.
* Use Building Assault to set enemies on fire and then charge them for free.

Question: If a unit with Dual Attack charges a single model, are all placed in melee range, and the first model kills the charge target, can the remaining members of the unit make ranged attacks, or do they forfeit their Combat Action because they don't have any enemy models in their melee range?
Answer: The check for melee range is done at the end of movement. If you kill the targets before they attack, they can still do their ranged attack. (Malkav13)

Question: Can a model with Dual Attack make any combination of ranged special attack and normal melee initial attacks, or its melee special attack and normal ranged initial attacks? (Example: Bison Both Barrels and Ram, or Mariner Thresher and gunshot).
Answer: No.
Explanation: The bison can not use dual attack and also make a special attack. That is correct in that (Thresher) example too.
