Spirit Bond allows the warlock to gain a fury for each of its dead battlegroup warbeasts. Reaving allows the warlock to pull fury points from a warbeast in its battlegroup when it dies. • Advanced Deployment reduced to 3 inches.
• No more back arcs. As a result, lost Arcane Vision and Circular Vision ability.
• Just a Tree? is no longer an ability. The tree has Prowl, which is the same, but now Wurmwood is a living model.
• Soul Taker: Alter of Sacrifice no longer collects souls from friendly models (global change to soul collection).

• In MK 2, it was Cassius who was the "warlock" (having the Fury score, spells, and feat) while Wurmwood was the solo. The developers have stated that the present incarnation of Wurmwood is how they originally wanted it to have been in MK 2.
