Una the Falconer shares a special connection with the beasts that roam the skies. She sees through their eyes, giving her an unencumbered view of her surroundings. Her birds of prey hunt her foes at her direction, darting and diving to tear flesh from bone before soaring high again to ready for another strike.

• Theoretically she's on the list of allowed models for Bones of Orboros too, but (currently) that theme doesn't allow any beasts with Flight and so she can't be played there.

Thoughts on Una1

Una1 in a nutshell

Una is a useful lesser warlock - best off taking one warbeast and spending most of her time using her Birds of Prey as boostable attacks to unjam other models.

She suffers when compared to other lesser warlocks as the limited pool of warbeasts mostly have SELF animi and the Razorwing Griffon is generally regarded as underpowered and have a niche animus. Thus she can’t reduce the burden on your warlock by casting support animi for them; in the same way Zaadesh1 or Horgle1 could do in their relevant factions.

Combos & Synergies

• Scarsfell Griffon is usually considered the best griffon for her to take. 3 initials, stealth and Tracker are all nice. It used to have long leash, which was incredibly good for her, but it was sadly errata'd away really hurting her usefulness at that time
• Argus Moonhound a lot of why you bring Una is for gun - although she can't run one herself the moonhound helps her hit.
• Storm Raptor is the strongest flying option in faction and with deceptively mobile can even walk and shoot triggered by guardian beast

Drawbacks & Downsides

• Like all lesser warlocks, she has short control range, low fury and is fairly squishy.
• Her limited battlegroup means you aren't going to get much work out of her beasts, unless you invest in a Storm Raptor
• It's fairly easy to have her faster beasts out distance her, especially when using dog pile.

Tricks & Tips

• A boostable black penny gun is awesome. She should be using that every turn she can.
