- Crucible Guard captain and warcaster. Major advocate for the railless interceptor, invented by her father.
- Sam MacHorne
- Mercenary captain of the storied Devil Dogs company. Major customer and benefactor is Sebastian Nemo.

- In alternate timeline where Infernals succeeded, Dez is a treasure hunter.
- Drake MacBain
- Distinguished mercenary warcaster. Has often been in employ of Llaelese and Cygnaran entities, but has worked for every major human kingdom.
