All this does is wrap the call to the spell so that the user doesn't have to use the category twice. It does no formatting. It would be like typing <nowiki>{{Category:SPELLNAME}}[[Category:SPELLNAME]]</nowiki>, which is really annoying to do when you're adding a bunch of spells to a list.  
* The Spellbox template calls a spell category.
 
* Use this instead of [[:Template:SpellTable]] when the spell is embedded in an existing table.
** Example: The [[:Template:Magnet]] for modular warbeasts.

What this does

  • The Spellbox template calls a spell category.
  • Use this instead of Template:SpellTable when the spell is embedded in an existing table.
