  • Storm Tower and Stormcallers (Part 2)

    Mired in Details Electrify that hair One of the Stormcallers and the spotter for the Storm Tower near completion. I am very happy with the insulated material under their cloaks, their hair and some of the other details. I am less pleased with their goggles. I will need to address a few spots tomorrow.  I’ve decided to go with the white-hair look, but add that Cygnaran electromagical glow.  It looks pretty decent on the table.   • Stormsmith Storm Tower & Stormcallers (Part 1)

    I love MAD SCIENCE! These guys look like they’re right out of Phil and Kaja Foglio’s Girl Genius comics. Short Circuit The power cord sold with the Storm Tower leaves me wanting something better. It’s too short, and you end up placing the tower directly behind your operator.  I don’t honestly know how he can fire that thing, then move around with that short cord.  I suppose that is why they have a penalty where they can’t really do both at the same time. I want the feeling of battle; whipping around the tower to fire lightning at a foe
