    Holy cow, what was I thinking? Hats off to the guy who sculpted this piece.  I’m thinking if you can make this guy look good, you’re painting at a level 10.  For the life of me, I could not stop adding more and more and more layers until it looked like a gooped up mess. If I get a bug up my butt, I think I’ll completely strip this guy and repaint.  Maybe after I up my skill level.

  • Major Victoria Haley

    So I’ve finished Major Victoria Haley to the best of my ability.  And as always, the Cannon shows me exactly what I need to improve upon.  I am really unhappy with having to detail out a face.  Faces are the worst.  I hate faces.  I haven’t got the right wash/eye/highlight techniques figured out.  I try to make sure the paints are thin enough, follow tutorials, etc.  All I can think is that if I keep practicing, maybe something will click.  I don’t know.   • Cygnar Light Warjacks Day 2

    DAY 2. CYGNAR ‘JACK WORKS. UNDISCLOSED LOCATION.  The gobbers mostly want to work on the two new Fireflies.  They spent almost the whole day cleaning up the boilers and unarmored metal.  They did eventually get to the Chargers and Lancer, but it took all night before they finished.

  • Cygnar Light Warjacks Day 1

    DAY 1. CYGNAR ‘JACK WORKS. UNDISCLOSED LOCATION. Another day in the works, so it seems.  Cygnar’s best sent us some light warjacks for assembly, and I had the good fortune of discovering some old ones in a barn just outside of town.  Luckily, the cortexes in the old ones were intact, despite their ugliness.  Oil and grease sullied the Cygnar blue on an early model Charger, and rust froze the joints. The Lancer stood with its lance arm extended, eternally attacking an invisible foe.  I searched for its missing arm and head, but had to requisition a new one through
